No one is useless in the world who lightens the burdens of others.

Charles Dickens

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

Financial Donations/Support

MFNO primarily manages and develops temporary accommodations for incoming refugees. Not all accommodation is donated, some has to be paid for. Renting units can be very expensive, even with MFNO as the guarantor. Your funds help keep rooms and spaces available for refugees.

Hosting & Temporary Accommodation

Helping refugees in the first few weeks can take two forms, depending on how much time and how comfortable you are:

Temporary Accommodation Only: You provide the accommodation, MFNO does all the rest.

Hosting: With the assistance of an MFNO Mentor, you can help the refugee family make appointments, find local shops and schools, get groceries and general life activities. You do not need to know the language of the refugee family.
